Exhibition of the sculptor Nikos-Yorgos Papoutsidis
Marathon Universe
As part of the cultural events of the 31st Athens Classic Marathon, the Marathon Run Museum hosts an exhibition of sculptures by Greek artist - sculptor Nikos-Yorgos Papoutsidis, entitled: MARATHON UNIVERSE
The Mythical Universe of the distinguished artist Papoutsidis overcomesthe limitations of time and space, just as it does the ideal of Struggle. The exhibition includes fifteen (15) sculptures, medium and large, dedicated by the sculptor to the everyday runner who willingly and without limits runs his own marathon. The sculptures "All in good measure of a man", "Global Torch", "Meteorite with branches", "Pentacycle of words and concepts", "Bank of Prizes with an Olympic Hymn" etc. are some of a few that were chosen to be exposed against the background of the Marathon Run Museum, in order to highlight the dynamic lines and the luxury of simplicity of sculptures of Nikos-Yorgos Papoutsidis.
Duration of the exhibition: until the end of 2013.

Exhibition of Irongraph sculpture - Painting

On Thursday, November 3rd, 2006 at 20:00 the new personal exhibition of Nikos Yorgos Papoutsidis opens for the public, at Adam Gallery, Athens. Using sculpured and painted works, the well known artist presents the legend of the dragon through the symbolism of the elements that construct the dragon's myth.
The exhibition will be open untill the 30th of November 2006.
